Will my baby cry?

None of us like to hear our babies cry, myself included.

Babies love routine and consistency. When we make changes, babies get upset. Crying is the way your little one can voice their unhappiness with the change.

Once children get more rest and they develop independent sleep skills, protesting the change lessens and sleep becomes easier – for everyone.  Your baby's new norm will be putting themselves to sleep!

I want you to keep in mind that through this program we are going to bring all of the pieces of the puzzle into alignment which will help lessen the tears and you will have a specific plan on how to respond.  Staying consistent with the plan is what's going to help you to be successful and clear up any confusion with your little one.

Is your method cry it out?

No. I've included methods ranging from high parental involvement to limited parental involvement.

No two babies are alike and no two families are alike. I don't use a one size fits all approach and like to provide choice to align with each baby's temperament & personality, as well as the parenting philosophy.

Will this program work for twins?

Yes, Christine is a twin Mom so she understands twins and she is also a twin sleep expert. There is a special handout that provide guidance specifically about twin sleep.

I'm breastfeeding. Can I use your program?

Christine is a lactation counselor and super pro-breastfeeding if that is the right choice for your family! We encourage you to contact your pediatrician to determine how many night feeds your baby needs and we will provide guidance on decreasing the night feeds that are a habit vs. a need.  We also provide a night weaning handout, when you are ready to make that change. You can 100% teach your baby healthy sleep habits and continue breastfeeding!

My baby still needs to eat at night – does this program include night feeds?

We recommend that you check in with your pediatrician before starting this program so he or she can give you guidance on how many night feeds your little one needs. We always want to ensure that we are meeting your baby’s needs.  Many formula-fed babies will continue to need a night feeding until they are 6 months and breastfed babies can need a night feeding until 7 – 9 months, unless they drop the feed themselves.

Can we be successful if we’ve tried everything and sleep training didn’t work before?

Yes! Most families have tried some sort of sleep training before investing in our program. When sleep training doesn't work, it is usually because parents don't know what to do or they respond inconsistently.

We are going to guide you in bringing all of the elements of the sleep plan together and giving you a specific plan to follow which will help you to be successful.
