Crib Buyer’s Guide: A Sleep Consultant’s Perspective
Last week, Forbes posted an article about the best cribs and of course, I had to take a spin through the article to see what they recommend! And I wasn’t surprised to see that several of their recommendations go against what my team and I see works best for families. So I thought, “why don’t I create a Crib Buyer’s Guide, but from a sleep consultant’s perspective!?” And here were are!
Our Crib Buyer’s Guide gives you special insight based on our experience helping thousands of families so you make the right decision for both the short and long-term.
Can’t I Just Get the Crib That I Like The Way It Looks?
When I was pregnant, I hit Pinterest almost immediately and looked for the most gorgeous nurseries for inspiration. I was a first time Mom and I had *no* idea about ANYTHING baby-related, let alone creating a safe and conducive environment for sleep. So, I went just with looks and didn’t consider long-term functionality.
Luckily, we can combine both looks and functionality! Trust me you want both, because your gorgeous nursery won’t matter to you if it isn’t safe or if your toddler is climbing out of the crib a thousand times a night!
In this guide, I want to make sure that as you are planning out the nursery, you are making the right, long-term decisions choosing the best crib for sleep!
